Apply semi gloss or egg shell latex paint. Find a shade of shoe polish that matches your furniture. Leather oil shoe polish baseball glove conditioner baby oil saddle oil and lanolin oil can also be used. I think the key is really rubbing it in.

All you need to cover up hideous scratches in your leather is a bit of extra virgin olive oil. Then rub the shoe polish into the leather and with a clean cloth rub the scratch quickly to buff it. Rub a cotton swab with the oil to an inconspicuous area of the leather upholstery. They too will lighten as it dries.

Notice how the scratches soak up the oil and appear darker than the rest of the leather. Light barely there scratches buff away easily with a soft cloth dabbed in leather oil or conditioner. A leather sofa full of scratches simply doesn t look very nice. To fix scratches on leather couch you are going to need oils like olive oil or orange oil and a soft cloth or a chamois cloth.

First apply the shoe polish to the scratches with a clean cloth or a cotton swab applicator. Of course you ve thought about removing those scratches before but you re simply too busy most of the time and fixing the sofa is one of the last things on your mind. Apply shoe polish to the scratched area. Starting from the center of the damaged area buff the leather in circular motions working.
