This product has worked well to slow down our drawers as they closed.
Convert drawers to slow close.
Repeat this process for all the drawers in the kitchen.
Screw the slides into the drawer.
Put the bit through the screw hole as you hold the soft close attachment in place.
In general we only needed one per drawer.
You put one piece on the bottom of the drawer as close to the front as you can.

Soft closing is achieved through a damper that prevents the drawer from slamming and springs that gently pull the drawer shut.
The old hardware remains in place.
Step 2 drill a starter hole with a 3 32 inch drill bit attached to the electric drill.
Our knife drawer is the width of 2 regular drawers plus it has the extra weight of metal utensils so that s the only drawer we used 2 units on.
Switch the drawer slides jig so that it is sticking outside of the cabinet.
Hold the soft close attachment up to the top corner of the cabinet door so the flat edge sits behind the edge of the cabinet and the knob juts out just beyond the edge.
I also added another piece of wood to keep the drawer from popping over the slide mechanism this can be seen in the picture.
